3 minutes. Every day.

3 minute didgeridoo time

This will be a short one. You can read it in less than three minutes.

I often hear from people that they have not played didgeridoo for a week, or two.. or month… or two. And I know why! Because they do not play every day!

And it is EASY to play every day. Just play three minutes. I’m not kidding. Instead of thinking of practice think of just going to say hello to an old friend. And then if you wish to stay longer, you are always welcome. The Old Friend will not mind if you stay 5, 16, or 176 minutes.

But you do not have that possibility if you do not come there in the first place. To start is always the most difficult, but most important part of the process.

To play even if only for three minutes, will keep your connection alive. You will have better feeling of your lips, breath and all the other machinery for didgeridoo playing (and love) all the time!

Make it your mini-meditation, your breath break, your inner stretching and relaxing. A present to yourself!

Everyone has three minutes, nearly every day. And what are you doing here? You could have already done your daily practice! GO!!

😉

It is the way it is. All else is just confusion. 😉

Thanks Du! Exactly what I needed to hear… sometimes you romanticize practicing to much and never actually get the minutes/hours/days in.

Exactly Sir! We always forget that a million miles journey starts with a first step. And so many amazing achievements of human kind had such a down to earth approach. Like doing something every day 😉
